Children Workshops

Schools, Libraries and Community Groups

Our popular workshops for children and teenagers run all year round (not just in Black History Month). We explore Africa's people, places and past at the appropriate level for the key stage. Interactive and engaging, they are packed with fun facts, stories and activities. Each workshop is about an hour, for up to 30 children and all our facilitators are DBS checked.

Our workshops will:

  • Enlighten your class or group about key figures and events in African history

  • Tell African stories in an engaging and fun way

  • Spark curiosity and a desire for further learning

  • Highlight new cultures and backgrounds that challenge prejudice.
